Embark on a virtual culinary journey with Yipin as she shares the flavors of Burkina Faso from her kitchen to yours. Join her for an interactive online class where you'll learn to prepare her cherished family recipes, including a rich peanut butter stew brimming with chicken and vegetables, served over fluffy rice, and a refreshing gingembre beverage. The more efficient you become with this simple yet effective kitchen tool, the more you'll enjoy cooking. This class covers basic knife skills such as how to hold a knife to chopping, dicing, and slicing, not to mention those fancy cooking show cuts like “chiffonade” and “julienne.” We’ll also discuss sharpening, storage, and care.
Bonus ~ all that we slice and chop we get to eat, so plan to something delicious at the end of class, too!
Note:
Each virtual class is approximately 90 to 120 minutes long. After registering you’ll receive a password-protected Zoom link along with a PDF formated prep packet complete with a shopping list, equipment list, and notes on advance prep.

Class fees are by household so the whole family can join in.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
The school reserves the right to cancel any class that fails to attract requisite minimum enrollment or for chef illness. We will contact you by email or telephone and issue a refund or you may request to be transferred to another class of your choice (depending on availability).
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
