I don't always feel I can assert myself in the workplace, especially as a woman. However, this class gave me the tools I need to be able to not be afraid to speak up or to ask questions on the job. Lisa was a great teacher, direct, open and very kind. I mentioned this class to a friend, so I hope she is able to take it. I would recommend it to anyone who who either feels less than confident about talking to a supervisor or a co-worker, or to someone who is on the right track and would like more pointers.

Lisa was engaging and knowledgeable. She had good tips on questions to ask, how to ask them and things to think about when either looking to move up in your current role or looking for a new one.

Lisa Gillette is a fantastic teacher. I enjoy her energy and her understanding of how to approach a work situation as a woman and not be intimidated. Being the pillar of strength while trying to ask for a raise is never easy. I have learned a number of techniques in Lisa's class.

I truly enjoyed this course. I am getting ready to negotiate a raise and this was the perfect timing for this class to show up for me. Lisa Gillette was fantastic and could relate to my industry also. Can put some of these techniques to work like my "power pose"

Lisa was simply excellent!! I thought her strategies only applied to the corporate world, however I can use it in my line of work as well. I like the strategies she shared and I plan to apply them when I have meetings! Thanks Lisa and I will be on the lookout for your other workshops!

Lisa’s course is so well organized that she is able cover multiple scenarios, have you complete some self-evaluation prompts, and answer any questions you have along the way. I left the class with helpful scripts, some homework and a confidence boost.
