Instructor went at a good pace. Took time to answer questions and to show techniques more than once if someone requested.
-
It was the Teachers fault. It’s just a challenge to be able view and to know if you are doing it right
-
The room was extremely difficult to locate. To my dismay, we did not create a beaded bracelet as shown on the enrollment page. When I asked about the technique for wrapping stones without a hole, I were told I would need to take her advance class. With there only three students, one would think that the instructor would have been more accommodating. She also didn't want us to record or take photos. As such she missed a golden opportunity to showcase her class and increase future class sizes. I will not be recommending this course.

Thank you so much for providing a pattern making class on Thursdays! Every word was knowledgeable and I walked out confident from your class, Can’t wait to continue taking them!
-
Though overall I enjoyed the class, I felt the instructor was not a particularly great listener and often gave answers that were not germane to the questions asked. Things often felt chaotic, and because she did not lead the class in an orderly or assertive manner, it was difficult to know what was expected. Also, there were often unnecessary intrusions by the instructor's husband.
-
What a joke: teacher was a no-show, didn’t bother to tell any of us, I drove an hour to get there, we all waited around and couldn’t even get in the room. All of us wrote emails and left messages, couldn’t reach a soul. Big waste of time, totally unprofessional, the alleged “teacher” should be dumped.
I’ve never signed up for a “coursehorse” class, this was first and last time. Beware.

Sewing Made Easy I with instructor Rosy Espinoza was a great five week course! In the class we covered the basics slowly and thoroughly.
-
The teacher was nice but did not explain things very clearly. I was confused most of the time and it seemed my classmates were too.
-
-
My only complaint is that the class took place in an open space next to counseling offices. People would often walk thru speaking loudly or have lengthy conversations in the back of the room.

Wondefrul class. Loved the teacher

Rosie was great! The class really got me inspired to design and sew again. We packed in a lot in 4 weeks.
-
Wish the class was 5 classes instead of 4.
-
The instructor was super pleasant and knowledgeable. I’ll be signing up for another class with her.
-
Rosy was great! Will be taking some of her other classes.
-
I enjoyed the class very much. It was in a very relaxing environment. Rosy did a great job at teaching.

The class was located at LACC , which is a huge campus located in DTLA. There were no signs to locating the class. I came in early in order to prepare myself. Unfortunately that wasn't enough time. It took me about 20 mins before I could locate the class.
After I was able to locate the class. I was immediately disappointed with the temperature. It was a summer afternoon, and the class had no air conditioning and no fan.
To follow suit the teacher did not have all of her utensils and tools. She brought her husband to the class (unprofessional) and kept sending him to the car to bring back tools she had forgotten, this took way for our learning time.
The teacher was unable to go through much material .
Truly diasspaointed.

Instructor would ask us for homework that she didn't ask us to do. She would mix us up with her earlier class and think she showed us something when she had not. Didn't come close to finishing the project. There was one student out of the whole class that actually finished the project.

I learned a lot about how to use my sewing machine and the basics of sewing in this class taught by Rosy. The project was to sew a little girl's dress, and I loved that it was somewhat challenging because, as I mentioned, I learned a lot more than I expected since I have very little experience sewing. I recommend taking this class for beginners.
-
Great class for beginners who are just learning to sew and want to learn the basics. The class was small, about 9 students, and our project was to complete a child's dress. Each class we worked on a different section of the dress and learned different industry standard tips and tricks.

Me ubiese gustado que la clase la dieran en una cuarto cerrado . Era imposible escuchar la clase con todo el ruido de las otras clases.

Excellent class. The teacher asdigned a very good project that taught a wide range of techniques. The teacher was very patient and took time to keep everyone on track.
-
-
The teacher Rosy was very knowledgable and took time to work with everyone individually. The project that Rosy chose for the class was challeging enough to give me the confidence to attempt any piece of clothing; but small enough to finish during the class period. I would recommend this class to anyone who thinks they cant sew.

The wrong class was advertised online, so all of the students who showed up were there for "Beginning Fashion Pattern Making" and the teacher was prepared for a level 2 class, which it was supposed to be. So, the first of 4 classes started 35 minutes late and we had no handouts. Thank heavens there were only 5 students in the class because everyone kept getting confused and the instructor needed to keep shifting topics and it was hard to keep track of the detailed information to take accurate notes. On the whole, Rosy (the instructor) thoroughly knows the material and was very pleasant, as well as helpful. I was able to get the information I needed from the class. The classes need to be kept small so everyone can get the attention they require. Also, there should be a prerequisite to signing up for any pattern making class ... the ability to sew and working knowledge of how garments are put together. The instructor struggled to get some of the students up to speed so that she could cover the class material in a way they would understand. Also, please tell enrollees to bring calculators!

Edgar is an awesome instructor! I would righly recommend this class!

The first instructor was not that great but due
To some urgent reasons another instructor came and he was very good teacher and I really enjoyed taking his lesson. I wish there is another class for different pattern making because he really explained to us in detail what was supposed to be done in real fashion business. Thank you.
