Hi I'm Lauren! I'm originally from Ohio and I've lived in New Jersey since 2004. I first started sewing in 2009 (taking Megan's Home Decor class) (I'm not going to count half of a quarter in 7th grade HomeEc). I enjoyed the home decor class immensely and I haven't stopped since. Sewing clothes has definitely been a challenge for me and I have many unfinished progress sitting around looking at me, but I enjoy learning new things and challenging myself with new projects I also enjoy helping other sewers to learn and to have a rewarding experience creating their own handmade items. When I'm not sewing: I like to read; watch tv and movies; laugh (many times inappropriately); spend time with my family,my friends and my dog; and watch and play tennis (more of the latter lately). Currently, I am helping Megan out in the Sewing Bootcamp and many of the Make It & Take It Saturday workshops. I look forward to meeting all of you and sewing with you!
