Teaches at New York Botanical Garden

Mike Orsino has been involved in arboriculture for over 30 years. He holds a bachelors degree in forestry from the University of Georgia as well as an associates degree in ornamental horticulture from SUNY Cobleskill. Work experience includes lead arborist for the NY Zoological Society as well as the NY Botanical Garden. Mike also competes in tree climbing events and is a two-time NY State Champ. He is an active member in the NY State and International Society of Arborists.

Jo-Ann Murphy has training experience in various subject matters. She assisted Mike Orsino at the NYBG when he taught Recreational Tree Climbing. In addition, she has been involved with the New York State Arborist's for 20+ years and has a great deal of knowledge with tree climbing equipment used in the profession.
