Novelist and writing coach John DeDakis is a former editor on CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer." DeDakis is the author of four mystery-suspense novels. His fourth novel, Bullet in the Chamber, is the winner of the Reviewers Choice, Foreward INDIES, and Feathered Quill book awards for 2017. The book deals in part with the death of his youngest son in 2011 due to an accidental heroin overdose.
